Nathaniel Hurd

Director, Religious Freedom Institute

Nathaniel Hurd serves as the Director of the North America Action Team and Senior Fellow for Public Policy for the Religious Freedom Institute. The Religious Freedom Institute (RFI) is committed to achieving broad acceptance of religious liberty as a fundamental human right. With religious freedom in the US and in other parts of the world being an issue that has great social significance at the moment, we are looking forward to hearing his perspective on it right now.

Mr. Hurd has had a distinguished career working with the US government, the Holy See and other humanitarian organizations to advise on religious freedom and find solutions to humanitarian crises around the world. From 2009-2010 he was a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Washington, in priestly formation at Theological College, the national seminary of The Catholic University of America. With this background we are sure his perspective should be very enjoyable.
