Ingrid Parris-Hicklin is the television producer and host of Ingrid's World which can be seen on YouTube and on channel 10, Fairfax Public Access located in Fairfax, Virginia. Ingrid's World is an inspirational television show. Ingrid has produced 90 episodes of Ingrid's World. In 2018 Ingrid was awarded a Silver People’s Telly Award for her cable television show Ingrid’s World.
Ingrid retired from Fairfax County Government in 2012 after over 30 years in public service As a Fairfax County employee she was the recipient of numerous awards. Most notably she received the A. Heath Onthank Award for merit which is the highest honor that Fairfax County Government awards to its employees.
Ingrid's love of service includes being a member and past President of the Rotary Club of Tysons Corner. She is a lifetime member, past President, and Charter Member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., Prince William County Chapter. Ingrid is also a Charter Member and Chaplin of the Old Dominion (VA) Chapter, The Links, Incorporated.
Ingrid and her husband Christopher are members of Holy Family Catholic Church and parents of three sons.
