Chris McKenna, Head of School, Good Shepherd School
Rooted in the person of Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd School is a nurturing, academic environment designed for each child to grow in independence and virtue.They focus on the enormous potential of each child.
Good Shepherd School is a place where virtue is forged, through academic inquiry, the fostering of independence, and self-motivation. They believe that each child is a unique gift of God.
Chris will discuss his amazing faith journey that guided him to leadership of Good Shepherd.
Chris received a BS in Mathematics from Pennsylvania State University and a MTS in Pastoral Theology form from the Institute of Pastoral Theology. He has worked as an actuary for the past 16 years, and after his own “George Bailey” moment, has led Good Shepherd School for the past year, where his youngest child attends.
He and his wife Tricia live outside Leesburg and are parishioners at St. Francis de Sales. Chris is amazed to see what the Lord is building at Good Shepherd School!
