  • Mrs. M. Christina (Chris) Desmarais joined the faculty at Paul VI Catholic High School (PVI) in 2003. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology from Belmont Abbey College and a Masters of Education in School Administration and Leadership from Marymount University.

    Chris served 13 years in the field of Special Education, as Director of the award-winning Paul VI Catholic High School Options Program. She has presented on a number of occasions at NCEA events on the topic of inclusion in Catholic education.

    Chris is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, Council of Administrators of Special Education, National Catholic Education Association, the Virginia and Catholic Business Network of Northern Virginia.

    Chris is also a member of the Loudoun County and Prince William County Chamber of Commerce. Since 2016 Chris serves as Director of Transitional Marketing at PVI as they position themselves for a move from their current home in Fairfax to a new, state-of-the-art campus in Loudoun County.

    Chris is an active member of Our Lady of Counsel Catholic parish in Vienna, Virginia where she serves as a lector and is a member of the Women of OLGC. She has been married for 37 years to her husband Carl and is the mother of two grown daughters, both of whom are Catholic school educators.

    Chris loves her home in Vienna, Virginia where she has lived for 30 years yet still considers herself a proud Jersey Girl.
