During the presentation John will discuss the following:
- How I made the transition from the corporate world to volunteering during retirement.
- Why the St. Lucy project was critical to my retirement life plans and my personal fulfillment
- How volunteering has changed my life forever in ways that I never imagined
- St Lucy project itself, how it started, how it works and their overall mission
John G. Palaszczuk is a retired executive of ExxonMobil with over 40 years of service where he was an economist and global oil supply expert. A Herndon resident and St. Joseph's Church parishioner for over 26 years has been a member of the choir for 14 years and is very involved in the church.
Currently he is the food ministry coordinator for St. Joseph's and volunteer for LINK food pantry and the St Lucy Project for the Diocese of Arlington. He and his wife Rita are also members of the St. Paul's Leadership group for the diocese.
